The Brief
Adam Gilbert, the Managing Director of Sticky Fingers Food , and I met to understand exactly what their requirements were. He had been running a catering business for over 20 years in Shoreditch, London and now needed to quickly shift the business model over to home delivery. He needed to make sure the website redesign was easily accessible for his staff and desirable for customers.
My Role
Considering the quick turnaround that was needed and the tight budget, I designed a Squarespace website that could easily be tailored to their needs. I focused on keeping a simple layout and navigation to avoid distracting from their delicious food.
I setup a commerce platform — to manage orders through Stripe — and did a run-through with Adam and the team to hand-over the site to them.
I designed a user-friendly website and helped close the digital skills gap within the company.
I needed to make sure that the commerce website had a fixed, £40 minimum order quantity.
